National Trust
Intro
The leadership team at the National Trust sought to broaden their understanding of neurodiversity within the workplace. Having previously engaged in inclusivity training, they recognised the need for a dynamic and flexible session to deepen their knowledge and address potential challenges. Their goal was to foster a more inclusive environment aligned with their company value of accountability.
The Challenge
The key challenge was delivering comprehensive neurodiversity training that catered to a diverse leadership team with varying levels of prior knowledge. Looking for an interactive and reflective session rather than a purely academic approach.
To meet this need, Devon designed and facilitated a dynamic four-hour workshop incorporating:
Interactive discussions and self-reflection exercises
Practical examples of neurodiversity in the workplace
Open dialogue encouraging participants to share thoughts and challenges
The Results
The workshop successfully delivered thought-provoking content that initiated meaningful conversations about neurodiversity within the National Trust leadership team. Key outcomes included:
Increased awareness and understanding of neurodiversity concepts
Recognition of the need for further learning and ongoing discussions
Sharing of National Trust guidance on neurodiversity post-session to expand team knowledge
"This was really helpful for us in improving for next time. One of our company values is accountability, and this session gave us a lot to think about."
