What we do

Self Agency’s consultancy training for private companies, public sector and charitable bodies provides individuals and their employing organisations with an appreciation of the ‘multi-dimensional’ big picture of neurodiversity from a workplace perspective. It also equips them to bring about positive change to ensure the right processes are in place for the future.

Our Services

Self Agency training will open the conversation between typical and non-typical brain types and identify the advantages of a culture that values neurodiversity. Workshop exercises will uncover the range of neurodiversity in the room and teach everyone something about their own brain type.!

We offer four different levels of consultancy, from taster sessions to fully immersive consultancy bespoke to your organisation.

Awareness

We help educate and train organisations when it comes to disclosure, knowledge and understanding. Our consultancy makes our clients feel confident, so that they can help their teams to thrive not just survive through knowledge, investment and better communication , which will also help them recruit and retain neurodivergent talent.

Psychological Safety

Our aim is for every space to be a safe space for neurodivergent people to feel comfortable in, understood and to be able to give of their best to their jobs, tasks and ambitions.

We also look at how to support neurodivergent individuals (service users, students, or staff) as they can often feel excluded and misunderstood. Stigma and lack of knowledge can cause neurodivergent people to leave jobs, education, and placements. This is an obvious barrier to their progression and learning; it also takes a toll on wellbeing and mental health.

Lived Experience

Our consultants all have personal experience of neurodiversity and can talk first-hand about how ‘positive niche construction’ helped them to find work and education that fit their brain type. They will talk about how difference is a strength and how to find out what adaptations and environments work best for an individual.
